Playa Herradura is located in Herradura Bay, in the beach contiguous to Jacó Beach, in the Puntarenas province. Besides, it is located very close to Jacó, an urbanized city with great hotel resorts. This beach offers an authentic tropical paradise thanks to crystalline green waters, dark sand and palm trees, providing this place with a wild allure that makes it a highly demanded tourist destination.

Herradura Beach also has an island with luxuriant vegetation named Herradura Island, located in the center-left side of the shore. On its left edge, you can find an important and recently built yachting port or marina with little new cruises docked.
