The city of Nicoya is a developing city of Guanacaste that has become one of the best and biggest cities of the area, where you can find lots of shops, restaurants and hotels, among other facilities. It is characterized by its colonial features.
Although the city of Nicoya is not a tourist model, there you can contemplate one of Costa Rica’s most ancient architectural structures, the Nicoya Temple. Inside it, it is located the San Blas de Nicoya Museum, which is currently a very visited museum and a cultural model for the people of Guanacaste.
This city is the perfect place to enjoy a cosmopolitan and cultural atmosphere, and it is an excellent place that you must visit during you journey through Guanacaste.
