Playa Negra (Negra Beach) has turned into a meeting point for the most experienced surfers thanks to its perfect waves, which allow them to practice the most daring surf. Furthermore, the beach has one of the most impressive natural environment in the area with its contrasts between dark fine sand and rugged rocks.
Although the beach is not easily accessible due to the bad conservation of the road, the beach is always full of surfers who rent a car to discover the incredible waves of the north Pacific Ocean.
Also, in its surroundings, you can find one of the scientifically most important natural areas: Las Baulas Marine National Park. This park is an ecologic model for students and scientists.
One of Playa Negra’s main features is its privileged position: it is located near other incredible beaches like Playa Avellana, Blanca and Callejones beaches.
If you enjoy surfing and you would like to live an unforgettable adventure, you must visit Playa Negra, in Guanacaste.
