Playa San Miguel (San Miguel Beach) is one of the most family-friendly beaches in Guanacaste, since its conditions are perfect to enjoy a calm day of sun and sea.
Among its different characteristics are found its crystal-clear waters and the beautiful vegetation that surrounds the beach, which creates perfect shadow areas to stay away from the hot Costa Rican sun. Thanks to its smooth currents, Playa San Miguel is the perfect place for swimming. There, you can practice several activities like yoga, pilates or horseback riding. Besides, in the beach’s surroundings, there are lots of hotels and restaurants where you can stay and taste a refreshing cocktail or some delicious Costa Rican delicacies.
