Cafe Britt Finca is Costa Rica’s most famous coffee producer and has its headquarters less than 1 mile away from Barva.

They have been producing gourmet coffee since 1985 by selecting the best beans from the best plantations of the country. Since 1991, their installations are open to the public for guided visits. These entertaining visits let visitors learn everything about coffee, from its harvesting to its consumption. You can also visit the gourmet cafe and the souvenir shop, both located in the very same plantation and surrounded by colorful tropical gardens where pleasant traditional music is always played while the typical Costa Rican masquerade are performed.

But the best way to learn everything about coffee production is to take one of the guided tours offered. These tours include zip-lines, beautiful paths, La Paz Waterfalls, an aviary, a butterfly farm, a serpentarium, and a hummingbird gallery.

Inside Cafe Britt Finca, you can find diverse services, such as a restaurant, a bar, and a gift shop where you can buy all the coffee varieties you wish (they even offer the possibility of sending your purchases to your house in order to avoid luggage overweight at the airport!). Besides, they also have facilities suitable for corporate events like summits, professional meetings, incentive-based travel groups, etc. Private tours and VIP tastes are provided under this kind of service.

The facilities have ramps to facilitate the visit to people with reduced mobility, so the accessibility to every area with wheelchairs is guaranteed.
