Montezuma Falls are known by all Costa Rican for being a real natural monument of Costa Rica. Thanks to their impressive conditions, they have become an important example of a place where to enjoy a day in touch with the purest Costa Rican nature and enjoy some refreshing baths.
Montezuma Falls are made up of three impressive waterfalls, each one located next to the other. If you want to know them all, you should not miss the opportunity to take a walk and visit the beautiful landscape that surrounds them.
The biggest cascade is located leading the others and has become a huge tourist attraction, as you can bathe in its crystalline waters and jump from its highest rocks. Nevertheless, you should be careful before jumping and wear proper slip-resistant shoes.
The second highest cascade is located in the second place. You can also jump from its highest rocks and have fun playing in its waters. This waterfall is perfect in case you do not want to jump from too high, as it is only 13 meters tall, enough for plunging.
The third cascade is only 3 meters tall. Although you cannot plunge, you can also have fun in this natural pool. Besides, this fall has swings which are perfect to play with your children. Without a doubt, this waterfall is perfect for spending a pleasant time with your family.
Thanks to the privileged location of the cascades, neighboring the village of Montezuma, they have become one of the main tourist spots, since there, fun is guaranteed.
