Museo de la Comunidad Judía de Costa Rica (Costa Rica’s Jewish Community Museum) is a new museum that has grown from the enthusiastic project fostered by the country’s Jewish community of disclosing the hidden details of the Hebrew culture and its arrival to the country.
This museum houses diverse exhibitions of high historical value, particularly those about the strengthening of the Jewish people in Costa Rica, the holocaust and of the general aspects of the Hebrew culture.
The Costa Rica’s Jewish Community Museum also offers conferences on specialised issues as the holocaust, the consequences of the Second World War in Costa Rica or the story of Anne Frank.
In order to visit the facilities of the museum, you should book an appointment in advance, but there are good news: the admission is free! So, I am pleased to invite you to come and get to know the Hebrew history of the Costa Rica’s Jewish Community Museum, in San José.
